Multig-rain
Today I walked to Shoreditch to buy some multigrain mini bread at Albion (seriously, best multigrain bread I've found in London so far). On my way back it started to rain, biblical style, and I had to choose between seeking shelter in Spitalfields market or walking through the rain and risk getting my beloved bread soaked. The choice was obvious, so this is what I was stuck looking at for about half an hour this afternoon.
Then the rain stopped, I walked back home and had a delicious multigrain + Nutella dinner. The end. Only it isn't, because I still have two mini loaves left for breakfast. Thanks Albion! Stay delicious.

Choo Choo
Tomorrow I'm going back to the Netherlands for a few days. This means I'll have to spend 4 to 5 hours (if I'm lucky) looking at this and trying not to fall asleep lest someone steal all my personal belongings:
I'm already dreading the smelly snacks the person sitting next to me will be eating. Their loud music. Their horizontally impressive physique. I'm practising my elbow tuck as we speak.
I still need to pack. I still need to clean. I'm tired. My stomach hurts. Wah wah wah. Maybe I'll finally invest in a nice rocking chair this year.
Jealous? You should be |

V&A Late: Yohji Yamamoto at Play
V&A Lates are usually brilliant so there's not much I can say about them. Or actually there is loads, I just don't know where to start. Any event that lets me claw my way through a tunnel of outfits (really!) gets a thumbs up in my book. I didn't take a lot of pictures, just of the Bo Ningen gig in the lecture hall which was really good. I wish I had more things to show as it's 2:30 and I'm tired/losing my ability to type nice stuff, but don't let my word and photo laziness hold you back from attending V&A Late this month, I'm sure it will be amazing as always!
It may be a cliché but Bo Ningen really is the ultimate haircut band |
And because we haven't had a .gif in a while...

It was inevitable
I'm happily in denial about Christmas time coming to an end (it's Christmas WEEK in my house!), the Christmas specials are still running, potatoes are still being roasted and eaten and like hell am I taking down my tree and decorations. But for those of you who are trampling all over the holidays (shame on you) and are readying themselves for New Year (what is wrong with you. New Year is the embarrassing uncle of holidays) I made this tiny animation with the Jack Skellington* doll I got last year. So you can wave Christmas good bye in style.
*apparently the "his hands look like your hands" gag never gets old at my house
